As a merchant, especially in multilingual markets, you may want to set the language the Brite Client is rendered to your end-users. For this purpose, we have introduced an optional parameter called “locale” which allows you to specify from one of the available languages in our back office. You can include the locale parameter in any session request to force the Brite Client to display a specific language.
The value of the preferred language should be in the following format:
Language | Value | |
Belgium – Dutch | "nl-be"
Belgium – French | "fr-be"
Danish | "dk" | |
Dutch | "nl" | |
German | "de" | |
English | "en" | |
Estonian | "ee" | |
Finnish | "fi" | |
Latvian | "lv" | |
Lithuanian | "lt" | |
Spanish | "es" | |
Swedish | "sv" | |
Thai | "th" |
In case of an incorrect value or selection of a language not supported, our system will automatically fall back to the default language.
For returning users, to ensure customer preference, whenever there is a preferred language already stored in the cookie, the stored value will take precedence over the locale passed in the request.
